The Year it all Changed
Since 2021, I have been a passionate advocate for my health, seeking justice and working towards my own healing. Before that year, I had been managing various medical conditions quite effectively. Hospital visits were a not common occurrence, yet I balanced a full-time job, studies, and the demands of being a busy mom. I was able to drive and enjoyed a social life.

The Scapegoat
Starting on a healing journey often unveils layers of trauma that can be both surprising and challenging to confront. One of the most difficult and unexpected discoveries may be recognizing the role you played in your family's dynamics, such as being the mother's scapegoat.

My Personal Reflection on February
February was a time for me to prepare for March and gradually ease back into my routine after surgery, which had put everything on pause. Here are some highlights from my month:

The Power of a Clear Conscience
Having a clear conscience is a powerful state of being. It shows a sense of peace and balance within oneself. When you heal and acknowledge the parts you played in past situations, it becomes a transformative experience.

Navigating Uncomfortable Conversations
I'm addressing topics that may make some people uncomfortable, but I stand by my words. These discussions about unhealed trauma are essential, no matter how you feel about them—it matters. As a young girl, trauma visited my life, and through years of living in dysfunction, I witnessed my wounds affecting every part of my existence.

What A Trauma Bond Relationship Looks Like
Trauma bond relatonship looks like a complex and often bewildering connection that can trap people in a cycle of emotional turmoil. It may appear as a relationship filled with intense highs and lows, where moments of affection and kindness are interspersed with episodes of abuse and manipulation.

Thriving Not Surving
On days when my body is crying out for help and all I want to do is stay in bed, especially when the pain reaches a level of 10, it's during these times that I must prioritize self-care the most.

The Things You Notice When You Start Healing
When you start on a healing journey, the world can feel incredibly confusing and isolating, prompting deep reflection. One important lesson I'm learning is that when you are the sole person in your family choosing to heal, it can be disheartening to observe from the outside that others are unwilling to change.

Breaking Free From Survial Mode
Survival mode can be very challenging to move beyond; it requires time and significant effort for personal growth. You will experience both good days and bad days, but there is a way forward. It's important to remember that even on the toughest days, you have the strength within you to persevere.

Grounding and Reflecting
Taking time for grounding allows me to find calm and reflect. As I progress through my Reiki training and embrace the healing energy, I realize the importance of caring for myself a little more.

Breaking Free From Trauma Bonds
How I Began My Journey of Healing from Years of Trauma Bonding and the Practices and Actions I Implemented in My Life included seeking therapy, which became a cornerstone in addressing the deep-rooted trauma that had shaped my life.

My journey with trauma Bonding
Trauma bonding is another term that completely caught me off guard. I always believed I was a well-adjusted person, so discovering this aspect of myself was shocking. During my therapy sessions and various courses aimed at helping me break old habits and move away from my former life,

Thriving, Not Just Surviving
one of the medical conditions I deal with is and recently had a flare-up of. Living with Meniere's disease and vestibular migraines can be incredibly challenging for those affected by these conditions. Meniere's disease is a disorder of the inner ear that leads to vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and a feeling of fullness in the ear.

Happy Sunday,
If I could offer you one essential piece of advice, it would be this: the most crucial action you can take is to dedicate time for reflection—whether weekly, daily, or monthly. This practice has been a cornerstone of my healing journey and personal discovery. For a long time, I felt silenced, lacked direction, and avoided my own emotions, thoughts, and the world around me.
