Here’s a calming guided meditation to gently welcome the new month of August, helping you reset, reflect, and align with your intentions

Begin by finding a quiet space. Sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes. Let your hands rest softly.

Take a deep breath in through your nose…

Hold it gently…

Now slowly exhale through your mouth.

Again.

Inhale the energy of possibility…
Exhale what no longer serves you.
Let your body settle.
Let your thoughts soften.
Let the weight of last month melt into the earth below you.

Now, bring your awareness to the present moment.

Visualize a soft golden light rising with the morning sun.
It gently brushes against your skin, warming you.
With each breath, let this light fill your body.
Let it move through your chest — opening your heart.
Let it rise to your mind — clearing space for clarity.
Let it go to your feet — grounding you in the now.

Repeat quietly or in your mind:

I welcome August with peace in my heart.
I release July and all it taught me.
I am open to what is blooming for me now.
This month, I choose presence, purpose, and peace.

Now take a moment and ask yourself:

What do I need this month?

Pause. Listen.

You may receive a word, an image, or simply a feeling. Trust what arises.

Finally, place one hand over your heart. Feel it beat.
