Yoga Finished for the Year

It’s that time of year again Christmas parties popping up, end-of-year catchups filling the calendar, and that familiar feeling of everything slowly winding down. Another year of yoga done, another year of showing up for myself, growing through the quiet moments on the mat, and finding new strength in the places I once felt scattered. It’s wild how fast the year moves, but beautiful to look back and see how much shifts when you stay consistent with your own healing.

Today felt like one of those gentle reminders that life is still good. A beautiful lunch with the lady's easy company, good food, and conversations that feel like a warm hug. It’s the kind of energy that fills your cup before the chaos of the holidays really kicks in.

And honestly, nothing beats yoga right near the beach. There’s a different kind of grounding that happens when you step onto the sand, take that first deep breath, and let the ocean hold space for you. The sound of the waves becomes its own meditation. The breeze lifts the tension right out of your shoulders. It’s peace without even trying. Before class even starts, your whole nervous system softens.

It’s the perfect way to wrap up the year grounding, reconnecting, and remembering that no matter how busy life gets, there’s always a moment to return to yourself
