The Power of Little Rituals
Thriving, Not Just Surviving:
Life can easily pull us into survival mode rushing, doing, managing, and sometimes forgetting to truly be. Over the years, I’ve learned that thriving isn’t about grand gestures or monumental changes; it’s in the little rituals that anchor us, nourish our soul, and remind us we’re alive.
For me, Tuesdays are sacred. Therapy is non-negotiable t’s the space where I can unpack, reflect, and realign. It’s not just about healing from the past, it’s about creating a foundation for the life I truly want to live. After my session, I treat myself to a coffee and make my way to the beach. There, the rhythm of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the sound of the wind become my therapy. It’s where I find clarity, grounding, and the quiet space to just be.
Every second Tuesday, this ritual extends into connection with others. I join shared dinners with other healers people who understand the journey, the highs and lows, and the importance of holding space for each other. These evenings are filled with conversation, laughter, and shared energy. They’re a reminder that healing isn’t a solitary process; it’s about community, connection, and celebrating the small victories along the way.
What I’ve realized is this: thriving doesn’t always look dramatic or visible. It’s in these consistent little acts of self-care, reflection, and connection that life begins to feel rich, grounded, and meaningful. Thriving is showing up for yourself, honoring your needs, and allowing yourself the space to grow, heal, and just exist fully in each moment.
So, I hold onto my Tuesdays. Therapy, coffee, beach walks, shared dinners these rituals aren’t just “nice-to-haves.” They are my lifeline, my anchor, and my daily reminder that I am not just surviving… I am thriving.
