Weekly Reflection
I can honestly say it’s been a better one with the ole wonky head. My body always seems to function so much better when the weather isn’t gloomy. There’s something about sunshine that just helps everything flow a little easier and with summer around the corner, I can already feel the shift.
I made a conscious effort to find balance. Dinner dates, lunch dates, beach walks all woven around rest, work, and self-care. It felt good to remind myself that life isn’t meant to be all hustle or all healing, but a blend of both.
Still, there’s been a strange heaviness in the air lately. Not just in my wee world, but it feels like everyone’s been feeling it a little feral, a bit off, tired, or even unwell. Maybe it’s just the energy of change moving through, reminding us to slow down.
If I’ve learnt anything, it’s that sometimes the best thing we can do is retreat. Sit with our thoughts. Take a quiet moment to reflect or step outside and let nature do her grounding magic.
And most importantly, don’t let one or two bad days convince you you’re back at square one. You’re not. You’re just human learning, growing, and finding your rhythm again.
Here’s to gentle balance, warmer days, and trusting that even the wobbly weeks carry their lessons.
✨ Reflection Prompt:
Where in your week did you find balance between doing and simply being?
💫 Quote to carry:
“Even the waves that crash remind us we’re still moving forward.”
