Letting Go Ritual - 2026
I was introduced to a ritual that felt small but carried a lot of weight.
You write down the things you’re ready to let go of.
The thoughts, the pain, the habits, the old stories you’ve been carrying longer than you should.
You read each one out loud.
Not rushing.
Taking a moment with every line to feel it, acknowledge it, and breathe through it.
Then you burn the paper safely, intentionally.
Watching the words disappear, knowing they no longer need to live inside you.
When you’re done, you step outside and let the ashes go.
Let the wind take what you’ve released.
Let the earth hold what’s finished.
It’s not about erasing the past.
It’s about choosing not to carry what’s no longer yours.
Sometimes healing looks like this
quiet, intentional, and deeply freeing
