About This Space

This is where I share my healing journey out loud.

Not the polished version.
The real one.

For years, I’ve been navigating chronic illness, trauma, and the complicated process of learning to listen to my body again. Living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Persistent Postural‑Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), alongside multiple other medical conditions, has forced me to slow down in ways I never expected.

Along the way, I’ve had to confront things I once buried just to survive.

Healing isn’t a straight path.

It’s messy.
It’s confronting.
It’s exhausting work that often happens quietly while the rest of the world keeps moving.

Here, I write about:

  • Living with FND and PPPD

  • Navigating multiple medical conditions and their impact on daily life

  • Trauma stored in the body and what it takes to work through it

  • Nervous system healing and learning to slow down

  • Flare-ups, triggers, and the invisible reality of chronic illness

  • The small glimmers that make it possible to keep going

I also share what keeps me grounded time with family, nature, sunsets, water, and the healing practices that help bring my nervous system back to calm.

This isn’t a space about pretending everything is fine.

It’s about being honest about what healing really looks like.

Some posts are reflections from my journey.
Some are lessons I’m learning along the way.
Some are the things I wish someone had told me earlier.

If you’re navigating chronic illness, trauma, or learning how to live in a body that sometimes feels unpredictable, I hope you find something here that makes you feel a little less alone.

Because healing can be incredibly lonely.

But none of us are truly walking it alone.
