This Year has been Shifts and Spaces

Letting things move, change, fall away and some days I honestly don’t have the words for what’s happening inside me.

I notice everything now.

The feelings.
The emotions.
The energy in a room.
The energy people bring.
The way my body responds to things.

And sometimes I don't need to analyse the shit out of it. I just know.

I’ve realised I want a quiet life.

Peace. Stillness. Slow mornings. Less chaos. Less noise. Less bullshit.

And that has changed the way I see everything.

The way I see the world has changed.
The way I work has changed.
The way I see relationships has changed.
The way I look at friendships has changed.

  • I don't want connections just because we've known each other forever.

  • I don't want relationships that constantly drain me.

  • I don't want to keep explaining myself so someone can understand why I need boundaries.

  • And I definitely don't want to keep shrinking myself to fit spaces I've already outgrown.

Some people won't come with you.

Some friendships won't survive your growth.

Some relationships will change because you changed.

And honestly?

I'm okay with that.

I'm not interested in chasing people anymore. I'm not interested in being everything to everyone. I'm not interested in performing a version of myself that makes other people comfortable.

I'm choosing a low-key life.

A life that feels good from the inside not one that just looks good from the outside.

Maybe that's the biggest shift of all.

I don't need more.

I need real.

Real people.
Real connection.
Real conversations.
Real peace.

And if that means my circle gets smaller, my calendar gets quieter and my life looks completely different from what I once imagined.

So fucking be it.

I'm not lost.

I'm just finally listening to myself.
